SIGMA and SmallRig announce co-development of camera cages produced by SmallRig exclusively for the SIGMA fp series cameras

SIGMA Corporation (CEO : Kazuto Yamaki) is pleased to announce the SIGMA and SmallRig (CEO: Zhou Yang. Hereinafter referred to as the “SmallRig”) co-development of the camera cage “SmallRig Cage for SIGMA fp series 3211”, “SmallRig Cage for SIGMA Electronic Viewfinder EVF-11 3226” and ”SmallRig Cage Kit for SIGMA fp series 3227” exclusively for the SIGMA fp series cameras designed by SIGMA and produced by SmallRig, which is a well-known manufacturer for providing solutions to support filming equipment. This co-development of the new cage between the two companies is expected to make SIGMA fp series cameras reach their maximum capabilityーhighly customizable and extensible. With this collaboration, SIGMA and SmallRig aim to provide filmmakers with an indispensable tool set designed to take their filmmaking to the next level.

Main features
The cage “SmallRig Cage for SIGMA fp series 3211” exclusively produced by SmallRig for the SIGMA fp series cameras serves multiple purposes including protecting your camera. It enhances usability allowing better hand held use, and great extensibility providing multiple mounting points for video accessories. The cage is secured to the camera via two 1/4”-20 screws on multiple spots. Besides, this cage is compatible with exclusive accessories produced by SIGMA and maintains access to the battery cover for quick installation. In addition, “SmallRig Cage for SIGMA Electronic Viewfinder EVF-11 3226” provides protection and maintains extensibility when it is attached to the “SmallRig Cage for SIGMA fp series 3211”. A bundle of “SmallRig Cage for SIGMA fp series 3211” and “SmallRig Cage for SIGMA Electronic Viewfinder EVF-11 3226” ー “SmallRig Cage Kit for SIGMA fp series 3227” is available as well.
