Nikon Z mount lenses

SIGMA Corporation is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of interchangeable lenses for Nikon Z mount system. This addition allows users to enjoy high performance, and high quality SIGMA lenses in native mount on their Z mount system. Three F1.4 prime lenses (16mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary, 30mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary, 56mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary), which are currently available in five mounts (Sony E-mount, Canon EF-M mount, FUJIFILM X Mount, Micro Four Thirds mount and L-Mount) will be simultaneously released in Z mount.

Features

1. Mount with dust and splash resistant structure

The lens mount incorporates rubber sealing to protect the mount from dust and water drops.

2. Data loaded for compatibility with in-camera aberration correction

The lenses will be fully compatible^* with in-camera aberration correction, which includes corrections for peripheral illumination, chromatic aberrations and distortion. By matching corrections to the optical characteristics of the lens, this function takes image quality to an even higher level.

3. Large F1.4 aperture

Suitable for handheld shooting in dark places, and allows lower ISO shooting without worrying about camera-shake. The large F1.4 aperture allows users to create images with large, smooth bokeh.

4. Stepping motor

Comfortable AF even during movie recording.

5. Super Multi-Layer Coating

Suppresses flare and ghosting by preventing reflections within the lens, ensuring images with outstanding contrast.

6. 9-blade rounded diaphragm

Creates an attractive blur in the out-of-focus areas of the image.

7. High-precision, durable brass bayonet mount

The brass mount combines high precision with rugged construction. Its treated surfaces and enhanced strength contribute to the exceptional durability of the lens.
