We sincerely appreciate your continued support.

We have recently confirmed that some SIGMA fp units produced since August of this year exhibit an issue where the battery is consumed more than expected, even when the power is turned off, when a lens is attached.
Therefore, we would like to inform customers who own a SIGMA fp with a matching serial number that, starting today, we will begin providing free service to address this issue by changing the camera's internal program.
Additionally, we are preparing to release a PC application (Windows version, Mac version) by the end of December that will allow customers to update the camera's internal program themselves. Once it is released, we will provide further instructions.
Please note that this issue does not affect SIGMA fp units with serial numbers outside the affected range, nor does it apply to the SIGMA fp L.
